uMoya-NILU’s experience in the regulatory environment, in industrial and chemical engineering, and their understanding of the requirements Atmospheric Emission Licensing and the Section 21 regulation places them in a strong position to assist companies with AEL applications, renewals and variations.
The development and implementation of the South African Emission and Licensing Portal (SAAELIP) has moved the application to an on-line process. uMoya-NILU has developed extensive experience with the requirements of the SAAELIP.
uMoya-NILU led the development of the National Atmospheric Emission Inventory System (NAEIS) for the Department of Environmental Affairs. Listed Activities, mining and controlled emitters are required to report emissions annually to the NAEIS. uMoya-NILU has developed extensive experience with the requirements of NAEIS reporting and assists a number of organisations annually.
